Job Summary

The Digital Strategist is responsible for developing and executing strategies that enhance online visibility and drive organic growth through SEO, social media, third-party distribution channels, and AI optimization. This role involves conducting in-depth analysis, identifying opportunities for optimization, and working closely with content, product, and marketing teams at brands and publishers who work with RebelMouse. The Digital Strategist will play a key role in shaping these companies’ digital presence, with a focus on increasing website traffic, improving engagement, and delivering measurable results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive digital growth strategies that align with business goals.

  • Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and site audits to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Collaborate with content creators to optimize web content, ensuring it is search engine and AI-friendly and aligned with user intent.

  • Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush), providing actionable insights to improve rankings and traffic.

  • Familiarity with social media and analytics tools such as Parsely, Chartbeat, Marfeel, and Loomly is a plus.

  • Identify technical SEO issues and work closely with developers to implement fixes, improving website speed, mobile usability, and overall performance.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices in the digital space to ensure strategies remain effective and cutting-edge.

  • Familiarity with link building and content distribution strategies to enhance brand visibility and increase referral traffic is a plus.

  • Create and deliver regular reports on site performance and traffic growth, presenting insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

  • Identify new opportunities for content development, site improvements, and user engagement to further enhance the company’s digital footprint.

  • Proven track record of driving organic growth and improving website traffic.

  • Strong understanding of digital growth best practices, tools, and strategies.

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional global teams.

  • Previous experience working in client-facing roles or digital media experience.
