Job description

Role Summary

The RebelMouse marketing department is seeking a technical marketing contributor to own the execution and maintenance of our technical assets. This person will become the single point of contact for all website styling, landing page builds, newsletter design implementation, and any additional technical implementations across the marketing team, inclusive of RebelMouse and RebelBoost.

The Marketing Developer will blend proficiencies from front-end development, styling, content structuring, asset creation, and technical implementations using the RebelMouse platform. They will be able to take both rough ideas to completed projects and complete designs to pixel-perfect implementations.

The goal of this position is to increase the speed, consistency, and efficiency of all internal marketing and sales assets, without taking away from our core team’s work on client sites. This role is critical to enabling growth by accelerating campaign launches, supporting rapid experimentation, and continuously optimizing marketing and sales assets for engagement and conversion.

About RebelMouse

RebelMouse is an always-modern, AI-enabled SaaS CMS where more than 100 enterprise brands and media companies grow their digital audience. Websites running on RebelMouse serve more than half a billion pageviews per month thanks to our powerful publishing tools, modern tech stack, and world-class performance across search and social.

Our People

Our fully distributed team spans 30+ countries. Led by Andrea Breanna, our Mexican-American, gender-fluid founder and CEO, we value diversity, kindness, creativity, and strong challenges. We’re a supportive environment where collaboration and curiosity matter, and where work-life balance is something we strive to protect.

Key Responsibilities

Website Ownership and Execution

  • The Marketing Developer will be the primary point of contact for all website updates, page builds, styling, and implementation.

  • They will partner closely with the Sales and Growth team to rapidly build and iterate landing pages for campaigns, feature pages, product pages, and campaign-specific assets, including outbound motions and parner initiatives.

  • Support experimentation initiatives (A/B tests, layout variations, messaging iterations) through fast and reliable front-end implementations.

  • Ensure all pages meet performance and accessibility standards.

  • Maintain consistency and predictability in design implementation while helping the design to continue to evolve.

Newsletter and Email Design

  • Own and maintain the newsletter layout and styling to match the aesthetic of the main site.

  • Create reusable modules and templates for speed of future editions.

  • Ensure professional, on-brand design and responsiveness across devices.

Technical Marketing Implementation

  • Implement third-party tools, tracking and embed codes, scripts, and any other tools required for the sales and marketing teams.

  • Support creation of any interactive elements required for the sites.

  • Proactively monitor the website for any pages that are broken, working improperly, or are not passing performance standards.

  • Continuously optimize for existing web performance standards and monitor the digital space for any new technical requirements.

  • Ensure technical implementations support accurate measurement of performance, conversion, and user behavior across marketing and sales funnels.

Internal Collaboration and Documentation

  • Maintain a consistent queue of work and clearly communicate and deliver on timelines.

  • Collaborate with Creative, Growth and Revenue stakeholders to translate campaign and funnel requirements into fast, scalable technical executions.

  • Create and maintain documentation for tools implemented or built across the site (for example, how to duplicate a particular layout).

  • Be the marketing and sales teams’ go-to resource for all technical front-end aspects of the websites.

What Success Is

  • A consistently polished, visually engaging website that is ever evolving with data the marketing team gathers.

  • Faster campaign launches from a 100% dedicated marketing and sales technical resource.

  • More engagement from deliberately designed and implemented newsletter templates across segments.

  • Strong cohesive feel across all marketing materials, as well as retirement and/or repurposing of any existing assets that don’t fit the mold.

  • Faster campaign launch and iteration cycles, enabling more experiments and optimizations per quarter to increasing overall team velocity.
